I add the upper hangar wall, and then the ceiling.
I edit the lower hangar wall by adding edges, and then fill the gaps.
I add the path way by making flat large polygons as wall pieces.
I edit the wall pieces by extruding.
I add the door frame, and the hatch door.
I start making the floor hall way.
I add and edit the walls pieces to the whole way.
I edit the ceiling wall.
I edit the hangar ceiling .
I add the textures to the wall.
Then add the textures for the floor and ceiling.
Texture the hatch doors.
Building the window by using create polygon tool, and duplicate the shape, then combine two shapes and then create the sides around the window.
I texture the window frame.
I sent the window to blender for solidifying the window to prevent missing planes on UDK.
I texture the lower hangar wall.
I start building up the other half of the hangar.
Adding the other half of the hangar sewer floor.
I extend the construction of the hallway.
The final structure of the starship hangar for exporting except for some pieces because it can be duplicate in UDK as building the level.
I model the hangar support.
I model the shields, and the steel cage floor.
I just deploy the polygon shape because I'm going to texture it.
I model the hangar lights.
I duplicate the hangar lights, but shrink the size as mini hangar lights version for the hallway.
I model simple lights.
After all the Maya models are done, I can export it as FBX file to import into UDK because for some reason UDK don't allowed OBJ files, because FBX has more options for importing data on UDK such as animation, texture, combine polygons, and other. However for emergency plans if some pieces has missing planes, I sent them to 3D program called Blender to solidifying on the modifier tool, and then export as FBX.
